Every now and again, parenting throws you for a loop. Today was one of those days, all thanks to someone wanting a sandwich.

I’m still looking for people to participate in the podcast. See the blog entry directly preceeding this shownote for more information.

Feedback continues to be beautiful. Thank you to Tim, Andrea, Kevin, Lisa, Ber and everyone who has said something nice about the show via IM or e-mail or comments. Hearing from listeners makes my day!

Music heard in this podcast is, once again, by Andre Louis at Onj’s Bouncy Beds:

  • Bed #3
  • Don’t Stand on my F#(%ing Foot!
  • Future

This podcast brought to you by the letters E, w, w, w, w, w, and w.

Huh. I think I’m hungry for some sushi. Should I get some for the kids?

We make our own sushi ’round these parts, pardner. Besides, what kind of sushi could you possibly be getting in Tejas? :P

I looove tuna sandwiches! We put chopped dill pickle with mayo in it! Mmmmm! However, that said, it is hard to impart your preferences onto your children. The podcast brought back such memories! Thanks!

my sister-in-law teaches english at a language school and uses her cat nick as an example. all her classes have heard about nick who is a BIG, tough, tabby cat. (her students refer to him as “nick-ah”.)

one night, they were doing “i like/i do not like” as an exercise and someone asked her if she liked tuna. she replied, “no, i do not like tuna.”

one of her students impishly replied, “nick-ah likes tuna.” the class dissolved into giggles.

Thaniks, Dreama - I was listening to the podcast at the health food store and on the way home to make dinner. Originally my dinner plans were to be good (mostly) vegetarians and make Thai hot & sour soup and tofu basil. It is now all I can do not to go to the deli for a Tuna sandwich. If that wasn’t enough, I now have the bumblebee tuna song in my head as well.
