Episode 9: Suffer the Children
I share what happened in November, in my usual rambling fashion, and what’s coming up in December (namely Holidailies, which will be playing out on Random Again, my blog) and a few other things — but most importantly, I give you all a sneak peek into my life as a NaNoWriMo winning (for what that’s worth, which is… not that much) fiction writer, with a this-is-not-an-audiobook recording of the first chapter or so of my 2006 NaNoWriMo novel, Suffer the Children.
[If you want to read the printed version of the excerpt and the rest of the story, please visit my writing blog, Fictaster, where there are details about the password process.]
Oh and yes, I do know the difference between a Super ball and the Powerball Lottery. I’m just a goof.
Thank you to everyone who helped out with singing God Bless America or providing other portions of an upcoming podcast. I’ll be seeking similar assistance in the not too distant future for a series that I wish to undertake in the new year. If you’re willing to do straight voice parts (not really acting, just reading from a script) please visit the “participate” page for more information, and let me know.
Thank you to those who sent e-mail and voicemail feedback on the last podcast. Your feedback was a great boon in my NaNoWriMo endeavor.
Music heard in this podcast is, as usual, by Andre Louis at Onj’s Bouncy Beds:
- Bed #3
- A Little Investment Instrumental
- Future
