While L’Argent, the trusty iBook is spiffy, he’s just not powerful enough to handle the demands of editing audio.

However, I am making this update from an Apple Store, where a replacement for D’Argent may be procured this evening, so how long the “while longer” will be will have to remain to be seen.

It’s NaNoWriMo: National Novel Writing Month. Over the next 30 days I will endeavor to write a 50,000 word novel. I’ve done this successfully every year since 2001. I think I can do it again. Tonight, though, I’m just talking about it.

Speaking of feedback, after a particularly virulent spam comment attack (215+) I have instituted minor moderation here. If you have never commented before, your comment won’t appear until I approve it; thereafter you will be able to comment normally. However, even if you’re an approved commenter, if your comment contains any words that have almost no use in civil conversation but frequently appear in the advertisement of XXX-rated websites, it will be blackholed and will never appear and I won’t ever even see it to save it from deletion. You do not have to be a great singer, in fact, I need some ordinary, non-singer voices for this. Your voice will not stand out at all, but will be blended with the other recordings that I get as everyone will be turned into a makeshift chorus. I especially need male voices for this project.

If you have a moment to do this, please check the Participate in the Podcast page to find out how to do so. This can be as simple as making a phone call, and singing these lines (just up to “with the light from above”) should take no more than 15-20 seconds.
